Job Description:
As a Junior QA Engineer Intern, you will be part of a high-performing Quality Engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases and scripts, and working closely with developers to ensure software quality and stability. It is ideal for fresh graduates looking to start a career in Automation Testing and QA Engineering with a reputed global software company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using in-house frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand software requirements and functionality
- Execute manual and automated test cases
- Identify, analyze, and report bugs and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
- Participate in test strategy discussions, test planning, and estimations
- Maintain test data, test environments, and documentation
- Stay updated on new testing methodologies and tools
- Ensure high-quality software releases using industry best practices
Qualifications:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or TestNG
- Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or C#
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, Jenkins, or TeamCity is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- High attention to detail with a passion for delivering quality software
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
