Job Summary:
Are you a fresher or early-career engineer passionate about building scalable cloud infrastructure and automation? SurveySparrow is hiring a DevOps Intern to work closely with experienced engineers, manage mission-critical systems, and contribute to infrastructure reliability. You’ll gain real-world experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, all while learning in a production environment with massive data and distributed systems.
This role is ideal for anyone enthusiastic about cloud platforms, scripting, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain production infrastructure ensuring scalability and availability
- Implement, monitor, and support cloud-based services
- Take ownership of end-to-end deployment lifecycle
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Implement CI/CD workflows to streamline deployments
- Enhance system monitoring, logging, and application security
- Optimize infrastructure for cost-efficiency
- Manage Kubernetes clusters in AWS EKS
- Debug and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with the team to improve DevOps best practices
- Learn from peer reviews and contribute to team knowledge
Minimum Requirements:
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with one cloud platform (preferably AWS)
- Scripting: Python or Bash scripting skills
- Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Linux: Experience with configuring and operating Linux-based systems
- Networking: Understanding of basic networking and protocols
- Databases: Familiarity with database systems and data handling
- Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach
- Education: Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field
