Job Role: Fresher DevOps Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary:
Guidehouse is hiring enthusiastic fresher DevOps engineers to join its SEAS (Solutions Engineering and Architecture Services) Platform Engineering Team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates passionate about open-source tools, cloud infrastructure, and automation. You will be trained and involved in building and managing modern DevOps environments using industry-leading tools such as Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
You will work collaboratively with internal users and cross-functional engineering teams to support scalable infrastructure and analytics platforms. This role is ideal for freshers looking to gain hands-on experience in cloud and DevOps engineering.
Qualification:
- B.Tech in Computer Science, B.Sc in Computer Science, BCA, or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu or RedHat preferred)
- Understanding of Git and version control systems
- Awareness of cloud computing basics (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ability to write basic scripts using Bash or Python
Batch: 2023 / 2024 Passouts
Experience:
- 0-1 year (Freshers encouraged to apply)
Job Location:
- Trivandrum, Kerala, India
- Work Shift: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (Evening shift)
- Travel Requirement: Up to 10%

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Administer Linux servers running RedHat or Ubuntu for analytics workloads
- Support Dockerized environments for internal users and analytics platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in real time
- Work on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation, backups, deployment pipelines, and environment configuration
- Contribute to internal DevOps best practices and documentation
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
- AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Experience working with Docker containers or Kubernetes clusters
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Ansible
- RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Prior hands-on experience from internships or projects in cloud infrastructure or Linux administration
