Job Overview – SDET Intern

As an SDET Intern (Software Development Engineer in Test), you'll work closely with our Quality Engineering team to ensure the reliability and functionality of the Cornerstone LXP (Learning Experience Platform). This role blends manual testing, automation testing, and programming—ideal for someone passionate about quality assurance and emerging tech like AI and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with QA engineers to run manual and automated test cases
Learn and apply product functionality using tools like TestRail
Develop automation scripts using object-oriented programming
Conduct front-end and API testing
Help report, debug, and track product defects
Contribute to AI-enhanced quality assurance initiatives

Required Skills

Knowledge of Java, or any OOP language (C# preferred)
Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Basic web tech: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Understanding of API testing and scripting basics
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Basic understanding of AI concepts in software testing
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Interest in pursuing a career in Quality Engineering or Software Testing

Good to Have

ISTQB, AI, or AWS certifications
Experience with SQL or scripting languages
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and test frameworks
