Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer (Entry-Level) to join our growing Engineering team in Bangalore. This position is ideal for candidates with foundational experience or strong academic exposure to DevOps, cloud platforms, and automation tools, and who are eager to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Automate builds, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Write and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Troubleshoot and debug infra issues
- Document systems, configurations, and processes
- Adopt and apply DevOps best practices
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, or similar (internships welcome)
- Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Scripting in Python, Shell, or PowerShell
- Understanding of Linux systems, networking, and version control (Git/SVN)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and work in agile, evolving environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on with Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Exposure to front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps Tools
- Understanding of DevSecOps and Agile practices
